Limina Journal will be running a Meet the Publisher event in collaboration with UWA Libraries. This is an opportunity for postgraduates and early-career researchers to meet local journals and publishers, hear their tips and tricks on publishing, ask questions, and pitch their ideas to publishers of their choice over refreshments. The event is free, and morning tea will be provided.

Participating publishers and journals include:

  • Fremantle Press
  • Australian Literary Studies
  • Ceræ Journal: an Australasian Journal of Medieval and Early Modern Studies
  • Emotions: History, Culture, Society
  • Parergon: Journal of the Australian and New Zealand Association for Medieval and Early Modern Studies
  • Shakespeare Bulletin
  • Westerly Magazine

9:30am – 10:00am - Publisher's Pitch
10:00am – 11:30am - Q&A Panel: Ask the experts (representatives for the publications are listed above).
11:30am – 12:15pm - Pitch and Mix (West end of the Fini Terrace, Reid Library, UWA). Grab a coffee and pitch your idea to the publisher/s of your choice. **We urge you to bring your own keep cup to limit waste.**
