She has developed interpretation plans for state listed heritage places in WA since 2002 and has managed and delivered interactive and linear productions for interpretive centres, museums, and public spaces in Western Australia and Queensland since 2000.
As Editor, Gina has been responsible for delivering national and state based publications for the National Trust of Australia since 2010. She has written and directed a range of short documentaries over the past decade including the Living Histories series which she wrote, directed and project managed as a central exhibition focus for Wanneroo Museum in WA.
The Jellyfish Chronicles is inspired by jellyfish Gina sees and films during the sailing season on the Swan and Canning Rivers. This project offers curious and challenging connections to our emotions and wellbeing. This is the latest ‘rivery’ chapter for Gina who has professionally investigated, facilitated and contributed to the cultural profile of Perth’s rivers over the past eight years. Some of those projects include developing the statement of significance for the Swan and Canning Rivers, auditing the social and heritage values of the Rivers, creating the Rivers of Emotion Project with CHE and most recently in 2014 completing marli riverpark-Interpretation Plan for the Swan Canning Rivers as project manager and author.
